The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of California San Francisco is pleased to offer a one year Medical Education Fellowship for graduating emergency medicine residents seeking advanced training in bedside and classroom teaching, curriculum design and evaluation, and medical education research.
The fellow will have the opportunity to participate in the spectrum of medical education from undergraduate medical education to graduate medical education as well as continuing medical education. The Education fellow will work clinically as an attending physician in the ED at UCSF Medical Center six days per month. The fellow will also have an opportunity to participate in UCSF’s Pathway to Discovery Program in Health Professions Education as well as the American College of Emergency Physician’s Teaching Fellowship. Salary and benefits are set by the Department of Emergency Medicine and the University of California annually.
