It is the largest free health servicer in the region and has health services targeting COVID-19, influenza, diabetes, hypertension, sexually transmitted infections, MPOX, childhood vaccinations, rural farmworkers and the homeless. The clinic was the largest single provider of COVID vaccines in the region and to date has treated almost 200,000 patients and affords clinical opportunities for UCSF learners, premed, nursing and social worker students in underserved valley medicine. Mobile HeaL is the first program in California and the first mobile health program in the country to deliver free contraceptive care services through Health and Human Service Secretary Xavier Becerra Upstream initiative.
