Interesting Fact: Between college and medical school I taught high school chemistry, astronomy, and special education for three years in Houston, TX through the Teach For America program. My former students are amazing people, and taught me many things that I will undoubtedly use in my career.

Interesting Fact: I once had a performing act in a circus. I tried to eat 100 shrimp one time but only got to 93. While in Panama, I tried to take a picture of a charging bull with a disposable camera (I then proceeded to break world records in the sprint and high jump over a wall). In an attempt to overcome my fear of heights I took flying lessons for a couple months; Update: I still have a fear of heights.
