Ultrasound
The Department of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Section is committed to advancing ultrasound education. Our department is proud to be an AOD (area of distinction) within our residency program, advancing education beyond our standard resident curriculum for those residents who chose the AOD. Our commitment to education extends beyond the residency program to include third- and fourth-year medical students via student electives and first- and second-year medical students via anatomy and skills labs. Our one-year fellowship is geared toward developing leaders in ultrasound and ultrasound teaching. Beyond the Emergency Department, our section participates in community programs at local high schools and other engagement opportunities.
