I love the outdoors and exploring new lakes and beaches. I also love dancing salsa, cumbias, merengue!
Interesting Fact: I recently went swimming with a couple of sea turtles, a stingray, and schools of fish in Holbox Island. I was just adopted by a mini schnauzer who keeps me running in circles.

Travel, photography, rock climbing, eating Mexican food and ice cream, cooking (but not baking), sipping coffee and reading at my local coffee shop
Interesting Fact: I have an endless stomach for dessert. I’ve learned to play seven instruments so far (3 types of clarinet, piano, percussion, oboe, and ukulele) and want to try guitar next!

I used to row and be fit, but now I just lift weights. I also spend my time hiking, trying to conquer my fear of heights, and eating adventurous things.
Interesting Fact: Before medical school, I taught high school students in New Orleans with City Year, an AmeriCorps program. I also gave myself a spontaneous pneumothorax in the gym during interview season for residency – I don’t recommend it.

Spending time with friends and family, foodie, fashion lover, traveling, playing dodgeball, hiking, climbing, watching sports but prefer to play, movies, television, and adrenaline junkie filled activities
Interesting Fact: South African, learned to read and write in German first, played for UC Berkeley Woman’s soccer team, three knee surgeries before the age of 18, trilingual unfortunately downgraded to bilingual, and I look like I am my older brother’s identical twin (he calls himself the pretty one).

Interesting Fact: Before med school, I worked as an environmental journalist and a congressional staffer in DC. I also spent a season working in the sheet metal and welding shop at McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
