Ultrasound Division Update

The Department of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Division remains active in point-of-care education efforts within the School of Medicine, other UCSF departments, and DEM faculty and resident education. Furthermore, the division has made several efforts to promote diversity for the department and UCSF as an institution. The division will continue to promote diversity and recruitment of diverse applicants with plans to lead a trauma ultrasound workshop at the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association Annual Conference in September 2016. We will also have a regular presence at the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) Annual Medical Education Conference. Here are highlights from recent events.
