Interesting Fact:
I worked as an independent filmmaker before coming to medicine; other esoteric hobbies I explored when I was younger included ventriloquism and doing yo-yo tricks; if I wasn’t a physician or filmmaker, I would love to be a theme park ride designer/engineer.
Future Plans:
Cultivate my dual passions as an artist and a healer, use design principles to improve the ED workflow and patient experience, integrate with and learn from the communities in which I practice, be fluent in more languages, stay humble, grow in compassion and skill with my co-residents, witness my patients and alleviate suffering. Honor and represent my Filipino roots!
