Research and Academic Interests: 
Dr. Smollin's research interests include medical toxicology, specifically the study of ecstasy associated hyponatremia and the use of whole bowel irrigation for gastric decontamination. Dr. Smollin has also been working under a grant from the Food and Drug Administration to study adverse outcomes associated with the use of dietary supplements.
