Research and Academic Interests:
Dr. Weber's current research interests include studying the utilization of emergency departments, the implications of mandatory treatment targets, causes and impact of crowding, and systems changes to improve emergency department flow. Additionally, she is interested in the study of peer review in publication, such as selection bias, and responses of authors to review. She lectures on a variety of emergency medicine topics including animal bites, rabies, asthma, pneumonia, emergency department crowding, and peer review.
