I'm a diehard Michigan football fan - you can find me on any given fall Saturday morning wearing maize and blue and singing Hail to the Victors. I was convinced I wouldn't get into med school at Maryland though, because my interviewer was an Ohio State alum... and I provided the evidence of why Michigan is a superior team.
