Dr. Christopher Fee, Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine, has been appointed Residency Program Director effective immediately. He has served as Assistant Residency Director since 2010 and Interim Program Director since July 1, 2014. Dr. Fee obtained his undergraduate degree in physiological science from UCLA and his medical degree from UCSF. Since completing his residency at Highland Hospital as chief resident, he has been a committed faculty member of our department.
Dr. Fee completed the Teaching Scholar's Program at UCSF in June 2014. He also leads several infectious disease initiatives, including hand hygiene and early identification of sepsis. He is the peer-reviewed author of several studies in the areas of quality and infectious diseases and served as the Chair of SAEM's External Collaboration committee.
